Mediação pedagógica na educação a distância : análise da atuação docente na produção textual colaborativa em fóruns de discussão

Abstract

Online Distance Education is characterized by being one of the generations of Distance Education (EAD) that, through the use of the Internet, allows education to reach places and people who never imagined receiving it. It is in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) that the teaching and learning processes are carried out, through teaching mediator learning role and the effective student participation. This study proposed to develop an investigation about the mediating action of teachers, in the digital genre Discussion Forum, guided by the research question: "In what way the teaching performance in pedagogical mediation in Online Discussion Forums can guide the construction of collaborative textual productions? ". The general objective of this study is to analyze the teaching activity in Online Distance Education, prioritizing pedagogical mediation applied in the collaborative textual production, in Discussion Forums of the IFAL Hotel Course, in the city of Mata de São João - BA, considering the dialogic approach of discourse. In view of this general context, the specific objectives are: 1. To identify the characteristics of pedagogical mediation teaching, in the Discussion Forum of the digital genre, of the technical discipline Hosting; 2. To map dialogic communicative strategies employed in the Discussion Forum genre, in the technical discipline of hosting, considering collaborative textual productions; 3. To verify if the use of the language contemplated in the Discussion Forums has contributed to the process of socialization, construction and textual reconstruction among the participants; 4.To Propose strategies that can stimulate the dialogism in Forums of Discussion, encouraging the collaborative textual productions. For each theoretical axis developed in the basis of this study, we have contributions from national and international authors, who deal in a relevant way with the subject matter in question. Authors like Moore and Kearsley (2013), Marinho (2010), Kenski (2010), among others, with regard to conceptions and approaches on ODL. In this paper, we present the results of the pedagogical mediation process in AVA, in the context of the pedagogical mediation process, Marcuschi (2004), among other scholars that discuss the relationship between pedagogical mediation, digital genre and dialogism. This research is of a qualitative nature, with a non-participant observation, through the netnographic contributions, the analysis of the mediating teaching role in the Discussion Forum and the dialogic discourse anallyzes, by means of three types of collection instruments: AVA observation script, semistructured interview and questionnaire. The results obtained in the analyzes led us to an understanding of how the mediating role of teachers in the Online Discussion Forum needs to be discussed, shaped, weighed and perfected, so that in times not so distant, this digital genre has a fairer use, coherent and precise in the promotion of the dialogical relations of the speeches issued and the collaborative textual productions in the educational process.
