| Resumo: | Este trabalho descreve os estágios imaturos de Cynea diluta (Herrich-Schaffer) (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae: Hesperiinae). Os espécimes foram coletados em plantas de Alpinia purpurata (Viell Schum) (Zingiberaceae) conhecidas vulgarmente como Panamá, ocorrentes no município de Recife no Campus Dois Irmãos da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco e em propriedades particulares. Aspectos morfológicos são os principais utilizados na identificação taxonômica, incluindo a quetotaxia da cabeça, tórax e abdome. Foram abordados caracteres como coloração do tegumento, manchas, biometria dos ovos, larvas e pupa além de aspectos bionômicos. |
| Abstract: | This paper describes for the first time immature stages of Cynea diluta (Herrich-Schaffer). The specimens have been collected in plants of Alpinia purpurata (Zingiberaceae) locale knew as Panamá that grow naturally in the campus Dois Irmãos of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and in private properties in Recife, Pernambuco. The external morphology of the immature stages of the representatives of the Hesperiidae Family is still little known. The morphologic aspects are the main characters used in the taxonomic identification, including the chaetotaxy of the head, thorax and abdomen, have been described in details. Characteristics as coloration and biometry of eggs, larval and pupal besides some bionomic aspects have been studied and used as well. |
