Abstract: The main object of this research consists in investigate rural women social representations on the bulletin O Candeeiro, by Brazilian Semiarid Articulation (ASA). What we want to comprehend specifically is how Semiarid women are represented in this particular medium of communication,if this bulletin encourages political participation, and if the content of the bulletin contributes to the construction of local development. The theoretical-methodological approach is through the view of rural extension and communication to development on the studies of Tauk Santos and Callou (2014); and through the view of social representations by Moscovici (2015), Jodelet (2011) and Guareschi (2013). On the methodological contributions, the discourse analysis by Oralandi (2000) was used, aside from combined methods of data collection, such as direct observation, document analysis and semi-structured interview. We analysed the bulletin O Candeeiro, medium that systematizes the practice and experience on brazilian Semiarid region, one of the communication strategies of ASA, which understands communication as a human right. We noted that O Candeeiro presents itself as an important communication tool, registering Semiarid history through the perspective of familiar agriculture and contributing to the construction of local development. Nonetheless, women social representation on the bulletin reinforce the image of the woman associated to productive and reproductive work.

Abstract: This project aims to analyze the appropriations of the proposal of Radio Alternativa FM of Nazaré da Mata / PE by the young communicators in technical formation, considering that in addition to the radio transmissions, they act in a situation of media convergence with other media supports, such as Digital social networks. In addition, we want to know how these knowledge multipliers transmit information through the radio vehicle and the use of other media such as printed text, videos and social networks. The study also aims to understand how this experience contributes to the local development of the community where they live. We do not speak here of experienced professionals in Social Communication, but of young people in professional and personal formation. The research process will take place in various forms, such as documentary analysis (of vehicles produced by young people), bibliographic sources that include authors such as Castro and Wanderley (Youth); De Jesus, Jara and Franco (Local Development); Peruzzo, Luz and Tauk Santos (Radio and Popular Communication); As well as Jenkins and Van Dal (Media Convergence), among others. It is a study that uses data collection techniques, bibliographical and documentary analyzes, and the application of a semi-structured interview with the supervisors / coordinators of Amunam and the young radio broadcasters of Radio Alternativa FM. Local development can be observed in the performance of these young people, of both sexes, through the empowerment and the academic-professional formation and the convergence of media (radio, press and digital).

Abstract: The present research analyzes the demand for Public Policies from young women of Cachoeira Seca community voices, trying an intersectionality perspective of study. Cachoeira Seca can be defined as a rural area in Pernambuco/ Brazil Northeast, with a distinguished semi-arid climate. The relevance of this study is to understand social dynamics and power relations in a rural community, in which young women have became seamstresses while agricultural laborers. The intersectionality is a three-dimensional shape to look at discrimination and subordination of some social subject for the time being receptors of Public Policies. Specifically in this research, social subject is the young woman, and the space in which she lives and works. In this sense, it seeks to examine whether the Public Policies offered to these rural young women attempt to attending their demands. As a result, it can be noticed, through young women listened by research, that there is a lack of communication between the local government and the community. In this sense, it had been observed that the local Public Policies or are absent or, if present, do not meet the specific demands of the rural young women of Cachoeira Seca. Theoretical bases are brings from Crenshaw (2002) intersectionality; Wanderley (2000) Rural concepts; Castro (2006), Rural Youths; Elias (1994), Society of individuals; De Jesus (2003), Local Development concepts; Trivinos (2003), Methodology, Scott (1990) Gender concept; Santos (2010, 2002), Epistemology, among others.
