Abstract: Currently in Brazil, educational institutions seek to adapt to the new recommendations of the&#xD;
Common National Curricular Base (BNCC), facing this, there is a challenge that is the insertion of Computational Thinking in a structured way in basic education in a multidisciplinary way. This work has as a research problem the lack of material to develop skills in the learning process of Computational Thinking aligned with the disciplines of basic education of the BNCC. The goal of the research was to create the kit Educational Computer in Physical Blocks (CEBF) that had the characteristics as low cost, using unplugged computing that does not require electricity, is scalable and easy to produce both manually and industrially with a cutting angle of 120º in the parts to facilitate manual cutting and fitting of physical parts to teach Computational Thinking, Programming and Computer Science in an interconnected and multidisciplinary way meeting the BNCC. As a solution proposed in the research was created the Educational Computer in Physical Blocks (CEBF) that allows the development of computational algorithms in a manual writing form on the physical blocks without the need for electricity and can be easily reproduced and applied in any school and being in accordance with the awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For this, a literature review was conducted in order to generate a knowledge base that can facilitate the creation of the Computational Thinking teaching plan using Unplugged Computing for Basic Education meeting the competencies and skills of the BNCC, and also verified the needs to meet international boards of education (e.g., College Board and Common Core State Standards Initiative) by the trend of a global education. Through the literature review, it was observed that another important issue is the creation of teaching plans that include methods for evaluating the learning of Computational Thinking that&#xD;
can be applied in basic education. It is also relevant to note that the teaching plans should take into consideration the cognitive age of the students, various types of programming languages, such as programming using blocks (visual programming) in a playful way to facilitate the student's teaching-learning process.

Abstract: Dropout and retention are recurring problems in undergraduate courses, capable of causing&#xD;
idle resources or generating revenue loss in universities. Survival analysis allows verifying&#xD;
the influence of events, such as dropout, completion and student bond, according to the&#xD;
time and probability of occurrence. It allows finding solutions to solve these problems in&#xD;
advance and avoid loss to universities. This work aims to analyze the dropout, completion&#xD;
and detachment of undergraduate students, through the proposal of a Markov Chain model to perform the survival analysis of students throughout undergraduate courses. The absorbing Markov Chain proposed in this work simulates academic progress, through&#xD;
states that represent the semesters in which students are bound to the course, with the&#xD;
inclusion of retained states. In the case studies, with graduation data from a Brazilian public university, the analyses identified differences in the behavior of dropout for courses in the areas of agrarian, computing and health. In addition, it was analyzed how the semester in which the student was retained impacts the probabilities of dropout, completion and detachment. In the analyzes considering the categories course, gender and race, it was identified how the difference in the behavior of students in these categories influence dropout, completion and detachment. Experiments were also carried out that showed that to decrease the overall dropout rate, controlling retention in the first semesters has a greater impact than controlling dropout itself.

Abstract: Deep Neural Networks open several possibilities to solve hard problems. The advancement&#xD;
in the use of quantum computation has allowed us to use quantum features which have&#xD;
no classical counterpart. It has brought forth many algorithms and techniques in the field of&#xD;
quantum machine learning (QML). One of the proposals was a binary quantum neural network (QBNN) which used an amplification method based on the well-known Grover’s algorithm search. Besides the fact of being a purely quantum method, it used an architecture selection mechanism as a meaningful approach. Despite its enhancements, one of the main disadvantages is the consumption of a lot of quantum computational resources. Therefore, We present a series of improvements from loading the data using a superposition instead of an original base encoding. Further, we also change the training process, replacing the costly Grover’s search with gradient descent optimization. It reduces the quantum computational loss, shrinking the number of operations and qubits. Moreover, we applied the concept of ensemble classification, instead of using a single specific quantum binary weight. Finally we show that it is possible to achieve a general model better using the Grover algorithm.

      <title>Avaliação de conformidade de requisitos de autenticação em gateways IOT</title>

Abstract: Within the Internet of Things, gateways are devices that play a strategic role in the communication of devices with the external environment. Gateways help with the problem of heterogeneity, acting to conduct the communication of devices even if they use different protocols. However, given its centralized and strategic position in an IoT network, gateway security becomes even more relevant. A successful attack on this device could leave everything inside the Internet of things (IoT) system vulnerable. In this context, considering traditional security requirements, authentication is incredibly important in IoT systems, since it is important that devices go through an authentication process before being inserted into the environment. In this dissertation, the main objective is to evaluate the authentication compliance levels of IoT gateways currently used in the community. For this, an evaluation methodology was developed, described in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), to evaluate authentication requirements in IoT gateways. Consequently, it was possible to analyze and select several authentication requirements published by internationally recognized technical organizations, such as IoTSF and OWASP. The gateways currently used in IoT were surveyed, installed, and configured, and the requirements inspection process was performed. In terms of results, it was possible to observe that current gateways, in their default configuration, can only meet approximately 66% of the authentication requirements presented by technical organizations.
